Have you been looking for a local chorus to sing with where fun is the priority and music selections are varied and interesting?
The Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus kicks off of its 50th year on August 20. The chorus is a mixed voice adult chorus that presents two programs annually in Fort Walton Beach. Rehearsals begin on August 20 for its Christmas shows, which will be held December 13, 14, and 15 at the Fort Walton Beach Civic Center.
The Chorus, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is a dynamic group of adults of all ages who love to sing! Its mission is to make music, enrich lives and bring our community together, one scholarship at a time. As a beacon of creativity and community spirit, they’re dedicated to nurturing aspiring musicians through scholarship, ensuring a vibrant future for music and unity.
The chorus rehearses Tuesday evenings, 7 p.m., at First Christian Church, 201 St. Mary Ave SW, Fort Walton Beach, 32548.
