At Executive Air, ensuring homes remain comfortable is just part of our mission; being an active and supportive member of the community is equally important. This week, our dedicated team had the pleasure of hosting a Lunch and Learn at the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, where we served a Halloween-themed meal to local business owners and residents. Our goal was to provide practical advice on reducing the costs of maintaining air conditioning and heating systems.
During our presentation, titled “Preventive Maintenance: Your Ticket to a Warm Winter and Cool Savings,” we shared essential habits that homeowners can adopt to save money and prepare for the colder months ahead. We emphasized the importance of keeping drain lines clear, as clogs are a leading cause of water damage and unexpected air conditioning breakdowns. Regularly changing filters, we noted not only enhances air quality but also helps systems run efficiently and last longer. Our team offered tips on reducing household dust, which keeps homes cleaner and minimizes the workload on HVAC units. A little preventive maintenance now can prevent costly repairs later and help families stay comfortable throughout the winter without surprise bills.
In addition to our commitment to education, we are thrilled to announce that Executive Air is sponsoring the second annual Chili Cook-Off on November 1 at Lou’s Tavern, from 11 AM to 2 PM. Fourteen of the area’s best chili cooks will compete for the title, and tickets are available for just $10. All proceeds from this event will benefit One Hopeful Place, a local homeless shelter dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of those in need within our community.
Whether we’re teaching neighbors how to protect their homes or rallying support for a worthy cause, our mission remains the same: to serve the community that has continually supported us. At Executive Air, we cherish our community, and every opportunity to give back is treasured.
