The Greater FWB Chamber of Commerce Celebrates 2023 Achievements and Welcomes 2024 with New Leadership and Prestigious Awards

In January, The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce gathered members and community leaders for its Annual Installation and Awards Breakfast. The event, a staple in the Okaloosa County calendar, served as a platform to bid farewell to 2023 leadership, welcome the new faces of 2024, and celebrate the outstanding contributions of its members.

Fwb Chamber 2024 BoardTed Corcoran, Chamber President, opened the event by acknowledging the significant progress made in 2023, especially in strengthening ties between the business and military communities. He extended heartfelt thanks to outgoing leadership and community partners for their invaluable support and commitment.

2023 Chairman of the Board, Maureen Bierman ended her year by recognizing the Chamber staff, fellow board members, and the Step One Automotive Group team. The awards portion of the installation banquet began with the following prestigious recognitions:

• Jim Glenn Ambassador of the Year Award was presented to Regina Samy, Dual General Manager of Hampton Inn and Suites / Home 2 Suites by Hilton, Destin
• Mert Wagner Volunteer of the Year Award was presented to Kari Painter of Element Home Loans
• Small Business of the Year Award was presented to Frances Roy Agency
• Corporate Business of the Year was presented to LiveOak Fiber
