Live music will drift across Choctawhatchee Bay as friends gather for bratwurst, pretzels and friendly competition during the annual Oktoberfest at Fort Walton Elks Lodge No. 1795.
The celebration will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at the lodge’s Tiki Beach on Okaloosa Island. Elks members and community guests are invited to enjoy Bavarian traditions while supporting the lodge’s charitable mission.
Oktoberfest favorites, including bratwurst, sauerkraut and pretzels, will be served beginning at 11 a.m. while supplies last. Live music will provide the soundtrack for an afternoon of food, fellowship and panoramic views of the bay.
Guests looking for friendly competition can test their strength in the stein hoist and keg toss. Additional games and activities will offer entertainment for participants and spectators alike.
The event continues the lodge’s long tradition of service and community involvement. After celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2025, Fort Walton Elks Lodge No. 1795 continues to host events that build friendships, create lasting memories and support the work of the Elks.
“Oktoberfest is important because it brings our community together and gives us the opportunity to show who we are and what we do,” said Cindy Carter, chair of Oktoberfest 2026.
Whether enjoying the music, sharing a meal, cheering on the competitors or taking in the view from Tiki Beach, guests can experience an afternoon that brings together Bavarian tradition, community spirit and a commitment to giving back.
